I am Lucy, the main photographer at Lucy Bond Photography. Mine is a warm and welcoming business nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside. I specialise in natural, documentary style photography, which, for those who are a little nervous about being photographed, can make your big day or photoshoot a much more relaxed environment, resulting in amazing image after image. For those who prefer to capture the emotion in more posed shots, I also adore traditional and artistic images too, so am pleased to offer packages of both classical and candid wedding photography and portrait photoshoots here in Devon and beyond.

From the earliest age I can remember, I've been captivated by the world through the lens. At just three years old, I held my first camera in my hands, and from that moment, I was hooked. I am not just a photographer; I am a storyteller, an artist, and a lover of the great outdoors.
I live near Tiverton, a historic market town in the beautiful west country. This is where I run my business as a Devon wedding photographer and family photographer from.
A Lifelong Love Affair with Photography.
My journey in photography began in childhood with an enormous curiosity and an innate desire to capture the beauty I saw in the world around me. Little did I know that my future held the privilege of joining the wedding photographers I so admired.
The daughter of a eminent photographer, who would often show me the beautiful wedding photographs he had taken, I was gifted my first camera at just three years old. Over the years, this passion has grown into a deep-seated love for the art of photography. Whether I'm framing the majesty of a mountain range, trailing the cobbled streets of Exeter, or the delicate petals of a wildflower, photography is my faithful companion, helping me encapsulate flashes in time and share them with the world.
My first love is photographing people. Its so very special to me. I adore being the wedding photographer, catching stolen glances between newly married couples and its a privilege to be the welcomed in to beautiful moments, photographing cherished times that will be held safe forever.
Exploring the Countryside with My Canine Companion
When I'm not taking photographs, capturing cherished moments as a bespoke wedding photographer, you'll often find me exploring the tranquil countryside near Tiverton, Devon, or walking along the river near Exeter with my faithful four-legged friend - taking photos of course! The beauty of nature is a constant source of inspiration for my work. Whether it's the gentle rustle of leaves in the Devon woodlands, the golden glow of a sunset over rolling hills, or the simple fun of a dog's tail-wagging happiness, I find endless wonder in the world outside my door.
